Taro Bubble Tea Smoothie Recipe


Ingredients:- 1 cube of taro root, cooked- 1/4 - 1/3 cup of milk- 1/4 cup of filtered water- 1 cup of ice cubes- 1 1/2 - 2 Tbsp. Organic cane sugar - 1/2 Tbsp. non-dairy creamer (powdered) Ready in Total Time: 30 min.Prep Time = 20 min.*Cook Time = 10 min.


Preparation:For the full preparation method and instructions, watch my YouTube video tutorial here. *Prep & Cook Times:1. Cook the Taro Root for about 10 minutes or until done (soft).2. Let the cooked Taro cool completely. If you don't want to wait, place them in a bath of ice water for 10 min. until chilled/cooled before blending.Note: I'm using a Vitamix personal sized blender in this video. Some advice on blenders: After owning both a Blendtec and NutriBullet, I can say the Vitamix is my favorite to use because it blends ice the best for smoothies + it's got a small kitchen countertop footprint.
