Ingredients:- ​1 cup of cake flour- 1/2 cup organic cane sugar- 2 large eggs- 1 tsp. baking powder- 1 tsp. oil- 1/2 cup filtered water- vanilla extract, splash- sweetened red bean paste (for the filling)​Note: I used Bob's Red Mill Cake Flour in this recipe and it worked really well. The red bean cakes turned out really soft and delicate. Ready in Total Time: 15 min.Prep Time = 5 min.Cook Time = 10 mins.

Preparation:For the full preparation method and instructions, watch the YouTube video tutorial here. 1. Sift together the dry ingredients before adding the eggs and rest of the wet ingredients. Mix well until smooth. Strain (if needed).2. Let the batter sit in your refrigerator for at least an hour (or you can let it sit overnight). This helps with removing any small air bubbles that may have formed when mixing. If you can't wait, it's also okay to just go ahead to use the batter immediately after mixing. 3. Cook the batter and filling following the method and steps in the video.
