Ingredients:Makes 1 dozen large cookies- 2 cups all-purpose flour- 3/4 cups sugar- 18 Tbsp. unsalted butter, softened- 1/4 tsp. salt- 2 1/2 Tbsp. matcha powderReady in Total Time: 30 min.*Prep Time = 15 min.Bake time = 10 - 15 min.

Sift together the all-purpose flour, salt, and matcha powder and set side.2. In a stand mixer or hand held blender, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.3. Next, reduce the speed and slowly add in the flour to make the shortbread dough.4. Roll the dough into a ball and chill in your refrigerator for 30 mins.5. After chilled, place the dough onto a lightly floured countertop and roll with a rolling pin until 1/4" thick.6. Score the dough using a butter knife and draw the leaf stems.7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350F degrees for 10 - 15 mins. or until the edges are golden brown.8. Let the cookies cool on a cookie rack for a few mins. before serving.
